So I haven’t written a journal (or read a journal for that matter) in a reeeeeallly long time. Sorry about that. And no, I’m not being all emo with the above lyrics, I just liked them.

I did finally upload an actual drawing instead of a crappy banner. haha. Go me! And many of you commented/favourited it. Thanks so much for that, it means a lot. I also submitted it to *codenameparanormal’s contest, which you can check out on her page. I don’t think I’ll be one of the winners, but I think I can at least get runner up. I wish my scanner wasn’t retarded and would actually scan nicely, but we don’t always get what we want, eh?

Uhm let’s see, I’m currently working on a few different pictures. One features my Kavo and Blaze, both in sextastic biker-ish outfits. At this point it may just end up being Kavo because Blaze isn’t looking right. :\ And I need help drawing abs, I just can’t get the shape right, and being a girl, I don’t exactly have any ripped abs I can look at. (my brother doesn’t have any, he has a girly belly. Hehe.) And I’m too lazy to really look up pictures, but I guess that’s what I’ll have to do. The other is a picture of my character Oliver and her boyfriend Hayden who is the sweetest person on the face of the planet. He even beats my Blaze as much as I hate to say it. Another picture is of Alexis, Kavo’s first love.

I put up some scraps, both are pictures of my character: Chloe. She’s freaking awesome, I love her. All my characters are awesome. Which has to say something about me, I mean, come on. Haha

Also, I went through and identified my strong points and my weaknesses and came to the conclusion I have more weaknesses than strengths.

Argh.

But I’m working on it, that’s all I can really do I guess. And I’m still trying to find my style, but I get so influenced by other styles and what not. Meh. I’ll figure it out I guess. But I know that hair and clothing are the two things I LOVE LOVE LOVE to draw and I’m good at them.

Also, do you guys go through hell trying to get two eyes the same???

ME TOO! I drive myself CRAZY trying to get them the same. I always end up doing the right eye first, then the left and they end up crazy uneven and retarded. Grrr.

Aaaaaaanyway, I’ve found a few new addictions:

So You Think You Can Dance? – AMAZING. It’s an incredible show! I love it. I loved Chelsie and Mark’s routine to Bleeding Love. Ooooooh, it was soooo cool! And the part where he like, manipulated her? I loved it. And you could totally see the story in the dance, it was incredible. They had better win or I’ll have to go choke someone.

Just Surrender –A great band. They make awesome use of vocals as well as music and they’re a really good band. Check out: Payback, We’re In Like Sin, So Close/So Alive, Tell Me Everything, I Can Barely Breathe, I Said It Before and Our Work Of Art. There are others, but those are a few of my favourites.
